Ukrainian Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction, holding their positions and repelling assaults by occupying forces in the Kherson direction. Defense Forces struck two enemy ammunition depots, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

During the past 24 hours, there were 65 combat engagements. Overall, the enemy conducted 13 missiles and 66 aerial strikes, as well as 96 shelling incidents using multiple rocket launch systems targeting our troops' positions and civilian areas.

Regrettably, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children. Multistory buildings, private residences, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

Aviation strikes targeted:

  • Staritsya, Ivanivka, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region;
  • Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
  • Kostiantynivka, Oleksandrivka, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Staromykhailivka, Rivnopil in the Donetsk region;
  • Novodarivka, Orihiv in the Zaporizhzhia region;
  • Kachkarivka, Chervonyi Mayak in the Kherson region.

Over 110 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belhorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 5 attacks in the areas of the settlements Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where the enemy attempted to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4 enemy attacks near Terniv in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks near Ivanivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, which persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly maintain their defense, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors.

Defense forces repelled 19 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area and another 7 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region over the past day.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the enemy near Hеorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 16 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Defense Forces repelled an attack by occupiers west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops continue to maintain positions and repel assaults by occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in trying to dislodge our units from their positions. During the past day, the enemy attempted 2 unsuccessful assaults.

Enemy losses

During the past day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 7 areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated.

Missile units targeted 2 ammunition depots, 2 artillery pieces, and 1 enemy logistics hub.

The total number of losses incurred by the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 392,380 military personnel.
