In Ukraine, there were 73 military clashes on the front line over the past day. Defense Forces repelled several attacks in the Lyman direction and near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

Overall, the enemy launched 4 missiles and 48 aviation strikes, and conducted 36 shelling attacks with rocket artillery systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The following locations were hit by aviation strikes: Vilcha, Vilkhuvatka, Petropavlivka, Kucheriivka, Podoly, Lozova in the Kharkiv region; Serebrianske Forestry Area in the Luhansk region; Terni, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Over 120 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 6 attacks by occupiers east of Terniv and Vesele in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which persists in its attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our troops maintain a resilient defense, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors. During the past day, Defense Forces repelled 9 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and Sieverne, and another 15 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, defenders continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 16 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the aggressors did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks near Robotyne and to the west of Verbov in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Defense Forces continue efforts to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. In the past day alone, the enemy conducted 11 unsuccessful assault actions.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces conducted strikes on 7 areas of concentration of enemy personnel. Additionally, with the use of anti-aircraft defense means, a guided aviation missile X-59 was destroyed.

Units of missile troops inflicted damage on 3 areas of concentration of personnel, armament, and military equipment, a command post, 2 ammunition depots, and a station of electronic warfare of the enemy.
