Russian attacks

There were 29 combat engagements over the last day. In total, the enemy launched six missile and 40 air strikes, and fired 21 times from multiple rocket launchers at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Russian terrorist attacks resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential and apartment buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

Situation at the frontline

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Certain units of the Belarusian armed forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy, including Kliusy, Buchky, Hremyachka in Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Mefodivka in Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Potykhonove in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy also launched an air strike near Berestove in Kharkiv region. About 10 settlements, including Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks east of Terny, Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling hit more than 10 localities, including Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Andriivka, Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near Druzhba, Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and 11 more near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region, where the occupiers, supported by air power, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. About 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomayske in Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops 3 times. The enemy also launched air strikes near Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka in the Donetsk region. Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Kostyantynivka came under artillery and mortar fire.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsk direction. They shelled more than 10 localities with artillery and mortars, including Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Urozhayne, Staromayorske in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Olgivske, Poltavka, Chervone, Bilohirya, Robotyne, Pyatikhatky in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Joint Forces Operation Center in the Kherson direction, Kherson, Kherson region, and Dmytrivka, Ochakiv of Mykolaiv region came under enemy artillery fire. The occupiers also carried out air strikes near the settlements of Respublikanets, Chervonyi Mayak, Zmiivka, Krynky in Kherson region.

A bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River

The enemy does not abandon its intention to drive our units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy made two unsuccessful assaults, but our units continue to hold their positions and inflict significant losses on the invaders.

Russian losses

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck four areas of concentration of enemy personnel. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed an X-59 guided missile.

Missile troops hit a control center, an ammunition depot and an enemy artillery unit.
