Russian shelling

Over the day, there were 73 clashes, with the enemy launching 1 missile and 43 air strikes, conducting 34 attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements.

Additionally, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 7 combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, of which 5 were destroyed by air defense forces. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.

Frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.

On the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, with no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine. About 15 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted assault actions with air support in the areas of Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka (Kharkiv region), and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk region), where 7 attacks were repelled. An aviation strike occurred near Ivanivka (Kharkiv region), and approximately 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted assault actions near Serebrianske forestry (Luhansk region) and Torske (Donetsk region), where 4 attacks were repelled. About 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 21 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka (Donetsk region). Over 20 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Avdiivka direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted storming actions with air support near Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Severne, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk region). Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks. Approximately 15 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Maryinka direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted storming actions with air support near Novomykhailivka (Donetsk region), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 attacks. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Approximately 10 settlements were shelled with artillery and mortars.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy made 11 unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia region). Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 attacks west of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia region). The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Kamianka and Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia region). Over 20 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes near Tiahynka and Krynky (Kherson region). Enemy artillery shelling affected Kherson, Beryslav, Ivanivka, Sadove (Kherson region), and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv region).

Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The defense forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, continuing to inflict fire damage on the enemy.

Enemy losses

Over the day, the defense forces' aviation launched 10 strikes on concentrations of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and an additional 1 strike on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.

Missile troops units struck 2 areas with concentrations of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, a radar station, and the EW of the enemy.

The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 328,760 military personnel.
