The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. During the day, there were 26 combat clashes, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy attacks
During the day, the enemy launched 10 missile strikes and 54 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory. They carried out 31 artillery strikes from multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements.
"The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains tough. There have been 26 combat clashes," the report stated.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy conducted an airstrike in the vicinity of Hranive in the Kharkiv region. Over 25 settlements were shelled with artillery and mortars.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike near Synkivka, Kotliarivka, and Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Kolodiazne, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy attacks near Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk region. The enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling impacted more than 10 settlements.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Khromove and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
As a result of assault actions, Ukrainian defense forces achieved partial success south of Bakhmut, displacing the enemy from their positions and consolidating on achieved lines.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of Avdiivka. The enemy conducted an aerial strike near Avdiivka. Artillery and mortar shelling impacted more than 15 settlements.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces continue to stop the Russian troops' advance in the area of Maryinka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted an aerial strike near Krasnohorivka. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted an aerial strike near Urozhaine. Artillery and mortar shelling impacted more than 10 settlements.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery and mortar shelling impacted more than 10 settlements.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted an aerial strike in the area of Olhivka. Artillery and mortar shelling impacted Kherson and Antonivka in the Kherson region.
Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian defense forces are advancing in the Melitopol direction, eliminating the enemy and gradually liberating the occupied territories.
"During the day, the Ukrainian defense forces' aviation carried out 12 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complexes," the General Staff reported.

The rocket forces and artillery units of the Ukrainian defense forces have damaged 1 ammunition depot, 3 artillery units, 2 command points, 1 anti-aircraft missile complex, and 2 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment.
