Russian occupiers attempt to regain their lost positions in the Shakhtarsk direction. However, the Ukrainian forces continue to repel the invaders' advances, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy attacks
During the day, the Russian troops carried out another aerial strike using Iranian Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs. All 15 enemy Shaheds were destroyed by the Air Force, in cooperation with the Air Defense and other defense forces.
The enemy also launched one missile strike, 47 aerial attacks, and carried out 23 artillery bombardments using rocket systems on Ukrainian troops' positions and residential areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population.
Frontline situation
Around 30 combat clashes occurred during the day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Veterynarne, Kharkiv, and Vesele in the Kharkiv region. More than 30 settlements, including Karpovychi and Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region; Pokrovka in the Sumy region; and Udy, Ternova in the Kharkiv region, were shelled by mortars and artillery.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Petropavlivka and Kyslivka. Over 15 settlements, including Rozdolivka, Markove, and New York in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted an aerial strike in the area of Avdiivka. Unsuccessful offensive actions were attempted north and southeast of Avdiivka and southeast of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. Stepove, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske were shelled by artillery.
In the Mariinka direction, the Ukrainian forces continue to stop the Russian troops' offensive in the area of Mariinka. The enemy conducted aerial strikes near Krasnohorivka and Mariinka, and shelled settlements of Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, and more in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Makarivka and the village of Rivnopil. The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to reclaim lost positions west of Staromaiorske and east of Urozhaine. Vremivka, Rivnopil in the Donetsk region experienced artillery shelling.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Uspenivka and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian forces. Over 15 settlements, including Novodarivka, Chervone, Charivne in the Zaporizhzhia region and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, were shelled by artillery.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out an aerial strike in the area of Odradokamianka. The enemy's artillery shelling affected over 20 settlements, including Osokorivka, Kachkarivka, Kherson, and Pervomaiske in the Kherson region, and Dmytrivka and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
Counteroffensive actions
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, holding the reached positions.
Enemy losses
During the day, the UAF's aviation carried out eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, equipment, and military vehicles of the enemy, and two strikes on the occupiers' anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Rocket and artillery units hit ten enemy artillery units, one radar station, one command post, one area of weapon and military equipment concentration, two anti-aircraft defense systems, and three enemy ammunition depots.
