Russia tries to discredit Ukrainian army again: Shelling of Oleshky
On the evening of Tuesday, July 25, Russian military forces shelled Oleshky, in the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast, according to the Telegram channel of the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yurii Sobolevskyi.
"Today, the Russian occupation forces carried out another provocation by shelling Oleshky, with the aim of discrediting the Ukrainian Defense Forces," he wrote.
According to him, information about casualties is not known at the moment, but it is being clarified.
The situation in the Kherson region
Previously, the Ukrainian command reported that the Defense Forces are actively preparing a foothold for an advance in southern Ukraine. This involves destroying enemy supply lines, command posts, and depots.
Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a location where the occupiers were concentrated in the Kherson region. Several units of enemy equipment and a drone warehouse were destroyed.
