Russian occupiers continue their attacks on critical infrastructure in the Prykarpattia region. Last night, air defense forces successfully repelled another attempt to damage one of these targets, according to the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Svitlana Onishchuk.

"Last night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with drones. During an air raid alert at dawn, air defense forces destroyed enemy drones on the territory of our region," she said, adding that fortunately, there were no casualties or significant damage.

Currently, according to Onishchuk, relevant services are working at the site of the falling debris.

Shelling of Ukraine on December 4

On the night of December 4, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory using combat drones and an aviation missile. Air defense forces were engaged in nine regions.

The enemy traditionally launched kamikaze drones from Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea and the missile from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 18 out of 23 Shahed drones and the Kh-59 missile.
