Russia transferring new equipment and soldiers through Melitopol and Mariupol
Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov on his Telegram stated that Russia is transferring new military equipment and soldiers for the war against Ukraine via Melitopol and Mariupol.
"While the Ukrainian Defense Forces are destroying the enemy on the Zaporizhzhia front, the occupiers are transferring new equipment and manpower through Melitopol and Mariupol," wrote Fedorov.
He noted that residents of Melitopol have noticed an off-road vehicle with the inscription 'Storm' in the city. The mayor added that this is a new unit of the Russian Ministry of Defense instead of the Wagner PMC.
In addition, the number of military personnel from Dagestan and North Ossetia has increased in Melitopol.
Fedorov also reported that the invaders are transporting heavy equipment through Mariupol toward the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Meanwhile, combat helicopters of the occupiers are flying low over the beaches of Kyrylivka and Berdiansk.
"The 'Rashists' want to throw their 'cannon fodder' to the front, but we believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have enough packages to send this spoiled product back to Russia," added the mayor of Melitopol.
Frontline situation
Recently Fedorov reported that the occupiers are deploying new units of soldiers to Melitopol and Henichesk. Movement of Russian equipment toward the Zaporizhzhia region through the Arabat Spit has also been recorded.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. The Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian defenders have liberated approximately 28 square kilometers over the past week.
