As a result of shelling in Zaporizhzhia carried out by Russian troops late yesterday evening, seven people were injured, including a teenager. Russians targeted residential areas and the territory of a local enterprise, according to the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

An official clarified that in the city, four women, two men, and a 14-year-old boy sustained injuries.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Russian forces struck residential buildings and the grounds of one of the enterprises during the attack on Zaporizhzhia.

"Private and multi-story apartment buildings were damaged," Fedorov reported.

He added that specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are currently working at the sites of the strikes.

"Emergency responders and utility workers are on-site at the impact locations," Ivan Fedorov said.

Earlier, it was reported that explosions occurred in the vicinity of Zaporizhzhia on the evening of September 26. Before that, the command of the Ukrainian Air Force had warned about missile launches from the tactical aviation of Russian troops targeting Zaporizhzhia.

It is also noteworthy that on September 22, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs, resulting in injuries to 13 individuals, including a child.
