On Thursday, May 14, Russian forces attacked vehicles belonging to the UN humanitarian mission in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with an FPV drone, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"Also, earlier today, during a humanitarian mission in Kherson, the Russians twice attacked a vehicle of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs with FPV drones," Zelenskyy says.

As the head of state emphasizes, the Russian military could not have been unaware of which specific vehicle they were attacking.

"The Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and eight other staff members were inside," the President adds.

According to Zelenskyy, no one was injured as a result of the Russian attack. The mission representatives were promptly evacuated.

The Kherson City Military Administration notes that Russians, in violation of all norms of international law, attacked vehicles belonging to the humanitarian mission in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with drones.

Russian strike damaged vehicles belonging to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

"Russian terrorists continue to wage war even against those who help others," the Regional Military Administration emphasizes.

The city administration also revealed a video showing the aftermath of the Russian attack.

Russian attacks on Kherson

Russian attacks on Kherson continue unabated. Due to the city’s proximity to the front lines, Russians are shelling the city with artillery and attacking with FPV drones.

According to the Regional Military Administration, the Korabelnyi district of Kherson came under fire just today. A woman was killed in the Russian strikes, and another man was wounded.

On May 14, Russian forces attacked a 69-year-old woman with a drone in the Dniprovskyi district of the city. She was hospitalized.

Earlier, the Russians dropped explosives from a drone onto a minibus. Seven people were injured in the Russian attack. All of them suffered blast injuries, closed head injuries, and shrapnel wounds.

Even before that, the Russians struck a bus with a drone in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. About 20 people were injured in the Russian attack, including a child.

Due to constant Russian strikes and the threat of new attacks, public transit in Kherson has not been running for nearly a week.
