Russian strikes on Chernihiv and region
Over the past week, Russia has been carrying out massive strikes on the infrastructure of Chernihiv and the region. The situation became particularly difficult after the attacks that took place in early October.
Russia's main targets are Nizhyn, Bobrovytsia, and Pryluky. The Russian strike caused significant disruptions to electricity and water supplies in these cities.
According to the Chernihiv regional energy company, Russian troops shelled the energy infrastructure of the Chernihiv region again last night. Over 4,500 residents were left without electricity.
Russian troops also attacked a fire station in the Chernihiv region last night, October 8. As a result of the Russian strike, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine building was damaged.
Due to Russian strikes, train traffic from Nizhyn to Kyiv and vice versa has been disrupted, and long-distance and suburban routes have been changed.
