Russia strikes Ukraine with ballistic missile and 154 drones overnight

On the night of May 20, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 154 strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the Russian drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russians launched an attack using an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region and 154 strike drones of the Shahed (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya types, from the following directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Russia.
The Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 131 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Ballistic missile strikes and 23 attack drones were recorded at 20 locations, as well as the fall of downed debris at 6 locations.
"New groups of Russian drones are in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Ukrainian Air Force warns.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
On the night of May 20, Russia launched massive strikes on several Ukrainian cities.
Dnipro was hit hardest, five people were wounded, two are in critical condition, and food warehouses were damaged. Simultaneously, Russian attacks were reported in Kharkiv and Odesa.
Also, in Konotop, Sumy region, a high-rise building was damaged as a result of a Russian attack, and many people were injured.
