On the night of February 4, Russia launched 65 attack drones and other types of drones at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 37 drones.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian army launched drones from 3 directions: Orel, Kursk, and Bryansk.

“The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” the statement said.

As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 37 Shahed attack drones and other types of drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.

Another 28 Russian imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).

Russian night attack on Ukraine

On the night of Tuesday, February 4, the Russian army launched attack drones into Ukraine. Air alerts were raised in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions, as well as in part of Cherkasy region.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv during the drone attack.

Russia also attacked the Cherkasy region with drones, and there were hits on businesses there.
