On the night of January 24, Russia launched 58 drones into Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense was operating in seven regions of Ukraine, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russians launched drones into Ukraine from four directions in Russia: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 25 Russian drones. The air defense system was operating in Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Lviv regions.

Another 27 Russian imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).

Consequences of Russian attack

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, people were injured and killed in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions as a result of the enemy strike. Apartment buildings, private houses, and cars were damaged.

As it was previously reported, in the Kyiv region, the wreckage of Russian drones fell in two districts. Buildings were damaged, in particular, a high-rise building in the town of Hlevakha caught fire.

In the Kyiv region, Russia killed 3 people.

In addition, a residential building in one of the villages of Lviv district was damaged by the fall of Shahed debris: windows and doors were smashed, and a 4-meter diameter crater was created nearby. Preliminary, there were no casualties or injuries.
