On the night of June 27, Russia launched 371 drones and missiles against Ukraine. The main target of the Russian attack was the city of Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia struck Ukraine with:

  • 363 Shahed-type drones and imitation drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
  • 2 Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles from the Ryazan region, Russia;
  • 6 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea.The

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time, according to preliminary data, Ukraine's air defense system neutralized 365 Russian air attack targets, including:

  • 217 were shot down with firepower (211 drones and 6 Kalibr)
  • 148 drones were lost locally.

"Direct hits of Russian air attack vehicles were recorded in 3 locations, as well as the fall of the downed (wreckage) in 8 locations," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

Since the beginning full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have been regularly striking the territory of Ukraine with various types of missiles, artillery, guided aerial bombs, and drones. Russia resorts to night attacks every night, which poses a serious threat to ordinary citizens.
