Russia strikes Ukraine with 160 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of December 19, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with 160 strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 108 Russian drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
From 6:30 p.m. Kyiv time on December 18 to the morning of December 19, the Russians attacked with 160 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones and other types of drones from the following directions: Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk, Millerovo of Russia, and Hvardiiske of temporarily occupied Crimea. About 90 of them were Shahed drones.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down/suppressed 108 Russian Shahed and Gerbera drones and other types of drones in the south and east of Ukraine.
47 Russian strike drones were recorded hitting 23 locations.
"Russian attack continues, there are several Russian drones in Ukraine's airspace. Follow the safety rules!" Ukrainian Air Force warns.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
Russian attack on the night of December 19 damaged a critical infrastructure facility in Odesa.
According to the Odesa regional military administration, part of one of the densely populated areas of Odesa was temporarily left without electricity, water, and heat.
The shock wave knocked out the windows of a five-story residential building. One person was injured as a result of the Russian attack.
Yesterday, December 18, in the Odesa region, after a Russian air strike, traffic to certain checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border was restricted. In particular, traffic on the Odesa-Reni highway was suspended.
Russian troops also struck the village of Blahodativka in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region with a guided aerial bomb. A 22-year-old man was killed, and 4 other people were wounded.
Russia also constantly strikes the Kherson Thermal Power Plant. Because of this, it is not possible to begin cleaning up the aftermath of past Russian terrorist attacks.
