On the night of September 26, Russia attacked Ukraine with 154 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The Russians launched drones from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, and Millerovo in Russia. About 80 of them were Shahed drones.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 7:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 128 Russian drones in the north, south, east, and center of the country.

At the same time, 26 strike drones were recorded hitting 9 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at one location.

Russia continues to launch drone attacks. New groups of strike drones entered from the north. Ukrainian Defense Forces are urging the observance of safety measures.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

This time, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine. Once again, Ukrainian Railways was targeted. It is currently known that a number of flights have been canceled due to the Russian strike.

Yesterday, Russians also struck Sumy with drones. In total, 4 explosions were heard in the city.
