Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, sending shopping center up in flames

On the night of September 7, the Russians attacked a shopping center in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia with drones, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Almost immediately after the new day began, authorities declared a yellow alert in Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. The threat of Russian drone attacks triggered the alert.
Later, Ivan Fedorov reported that Russia had struck the shopping center. Subsequently, the head of the Regional Military Administration shared footage of the aftermath of the Russian attack.
"Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. A shopping center caught fire. There were no casualties," the statement reads.

Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia
On the evening of September 5, the Russians also attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. Residential buildings and an administrative building were damaged, and there were casualties.
On the night of September 4, the Russian military also attacked Zaporizhzhia, causing a fire to break out in one of the high-rise buildings.
