Over the past day, Russians attacked settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region about 600 times. Two people were killed as a result of the Russian strikes, according to the National Police of Ukraine and the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Russia struck 18 settlements.

The Polohy district suffered the most from the Russian attacks. In particular, a 64-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man were killed in an air strike on Omelnyk.

"Russian troops carried out 6 air strikes on Omelnyk, Yehorivka, Novoselivka, Bilohiria, Malynivka, and Poltavka," the official wrote, adding that over 400 Russian drones were also spotted.

The Russians also used MLRS and artillery.

"Three MLRS strikes hit Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, and Mala Tokmachka... 141 Russian artillery strikes were carried out on Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne," said the head of the Regional military administration.

In total, law enforcement agencies registered up to 100 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Russia is actively striking the Zaporizhzhia region. We recently wrote about the almost destroyed village of Malokaterynivka, 80% of which has been reduced to ruins.

There was also a Russian drone attack on the Zaporizhzhia region, which resulted in a young woman being injured. At that time, Russians struck Novotroitske, and damage to buildings was recorded.

Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian freight train with tankers in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
