Russia strikes Ukraine's Nizhyn with drones: Post office and residential buildings hit

On the evening of Wednesday, October 15, Russian forces attacked the city of Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region with drones. Residential buildings were hit, according to Suspilne and a Facebook post by Mayor Oleksandr Kodola.
As of now, it is known that drones struck two residential buildings as well as a building housing a store and a Nova Poshta branch (the post office - ed.). No information about casualties has been reported so far.
According to Kodola, the aggressor state is striking with Shahed drones at critical and civilian infrastructure facilities.
"We ask you to stock up on drinking and technical water, and charge your phones, power banks, and flashlights," he urged local residents.

Earlier today, October 15, an explosion was heard in Sumy. The city is currently experiencing power outages.
In addition, last night, the Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian defenders shot down nearly 40 enemy drones, but several Shaheds still hit their targets.
As a result, destruction and fires were recorded in the region. A 19-year-old man was also injured in the strike and was hospitalized in moderate condition.
The occupiers also struck the Chernihiv region. In particular, a fire broke out at a civilian facility in Chernihiv, and in Semenivka, a drone hit a residential building.
