Russia strikes Ukraine's Konotop: Fires broke out, high-rise building damaged

On the night of April 10, Russian drones attacked the city of Konotop in the Sumy region. The strikes caused fires, damaged a high-rise building, and destroyed vehicles, according to Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin.
The first explosions were heard around 4:30 a.m. Kyiv time.
One of the Russian drones struck in the city center, after which an administrative building caught fire.
Subsequently, another Russian drone struck a five-story residential building in the center, where apartments and cars began to burn.
Russian attack damaged residential apartments and civilian vehicles. Gas lines were also damaged in one of the city’s central neighborhoods, leaving several high-rise buildings without gas service.
Later, Semenikhin reported that one person sustained minor injuries. Medical personnel provided the necessary assistance. According to preliminary data, there were no fatalities.
In addition, four residents will be evacuated from the damaged building. An inspection of the building is currently underway.
As of 8 a.m., rescue workers had extinguished all fires, and utility services are working to address the aftermath of the Russian attack.

Russian strikes on Ukraine on April 10
Russian troops terrorized Odesa with strike drones for most of the night on April 10, damaging energy and port facilities, causing power outages and fires.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian army attacked Ukraine last night with 128 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types.
As of this morning, Ukrainian air defense forces have shot down 113 Russian drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
