Russia strikes Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi: Massive fire broke out

"Air defense forces were on duty in the region during this morning's air raid siren. A Russian attack caused a fire on the premises of a company in Khmelnytskyi. Units of the State Emergency Service have been deployed to extinguish it," Tiurin says.

According to the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, no reports of casualties or injuries have been received.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine notes that rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. A total of 51 rescuers and 9 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

Russian strikes on Ukraine on the night of April 1

Russian troops attacked many regions in Ukraine during the night and early morning. In Lutsk, a strike was recorded at one of the industrial enterprises.

The extent of the damage and the impact on production capacity are currently being assessed. State Emergency Service of Ukraine specialists are working to extinguish the fire and clear the debris.

Additionally, Russian occupiers attacked Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region with a strike drone. 11 people were injured as a result of the Russian strike. 3 people were hospitalized. A 16-year-old girl and a 28-year-old woman are in severe condition, while a 25-year-old victim is in moderate condition.

Russian FPV drone attack also damaged five-story buildings and shops in the city. The fire destroyed a car.
