At 2:58 p.m., Bryzinskyi reported that explosions had been detected within Chernihiv. He urged all residents of the city to take shelter.
As of 3:02 p.m., the head of the city military administration provided updated information on the Russian missile strike.
"A missile strike was recorded on the territory of a city enterprise. Information on the injured is being clarified," he explained.
Meanwhile, Sumy Telegram channels reported that a powerful explosion was heard in the city.

According to updated information from Bryzhynskyi, the missile strike was recorded near one of the checkpoints.
"Information on the victims is being clarified. There may be repeated launches, so stay in shelters," he stressed.

At the same time, he once again called on residents to remain in shelters while the threat of repeated strikes continues.
