Russian strikes on Orlivka checkpoint

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have attacked the Orlivka checkpoint several times.

In October 2024, passage operations were temporarily suspended at the Orlivka checkpoint because of Russian strikes.

Also, after the Russian night attack on Ukraine in October 2023, the Orlivka ferry crossing on the border with Romania suspended its operations. Measures were being taken at the crossing point to stabilize operations after Russia's night attack on the port and border infrastructure. No one was injured.
