The Sumy region has suffered another attack from Russia. The premises of the State Tax Service's taxpayer service center in the region have been damaged, according to Lesia Karnaukh, acting head of the State Tax Service.

The State Tax Service in Sumy region reported that as a result of the Russian strike, the building was damaged - windows were broken and workplaces were partially destroyed.

According to preliminary data, none of the employees were injured.

"We are quickly eliminating the consequences. I would like to thank the tax officials of Sumy region, who, despite such difficult conditions, continue to do their job and provide services to taxpayers," Karnaukh says.

Russian attack on Ukraine

Russian attack on the tax office in the Sumy region took place against the backdrop of a new wave of massive Russian strikes on Ukraine.

On the night of July 29, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Later, it became known that the Russian troops attacked rescuers who were working at the scene of a fire in the region.

In addition, a correctional colony in the Zaporizhzhia region came under Russian fire. As a result of the Russian strike, there were casualties and dozens of wounded, the premises of the institution were destroyed, and surrounding buildings were damaged.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of July 29, Russia struck Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
