The Shostka community in the Sumy region came under a heavy Russian strike overnight on July 15, leaving at least one person injured.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, according to his post.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov, the victim is receiving medical assistance.

He reported that the strike damaged a medical facility, as well as both apartment blocks and private homes. The full extent of the destruction is still being assessed, and response teams are working to deal with the aftermath.

Meanwhile, Russia’s drone attacks continue. As of 3:46 AM Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that strike drones had been detected over the Dnipropetrovsk region, heading west. Additional drones were spotted over the eastern part of the Chernihiv region, flying south. An alert for possible Shahed drones was also issued in Zaporizhzhia.

Russian attacks on July 14

According to the evening update from the General Staff, Russian forces launched two missiles, conducted 64 airstrikes, and dropped 100 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

A total of 1,168 drones were used in the attacks, and Russian forces carried out 3,980 incidents targeting Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements.
