Russia strikes shopping mall in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, massive fire breaks out

On Thursday evening, September 17, Russian forces once again attacked Zaporizhzhia. This time, the strike hit a shopping center, causing a massive fire, according to Mykhailo Semikin, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to him, Russian forces targeted civilian businesses, bus stops and buses, as well as shopping centers in Zaporizhzhia today.
"Toward evening, the enemy struck a supermarket on the right bank of the city. A massive fire is now raging there. No casualties have been reported so far," the statement said.
Semikin added that the attack was destroying supplies of buckwheat and salt, but urged residents not to panic or buy food in bulk.
Meanwhile, Ivan Fedorov, co-head of the Defense Council of Zaporizhzhia region, also confirmed the strike on the shopping center. Judging by the photos he posted, the Amstor shopping center was hit.

Earlier on Thursday, Russian forces attacked a passenger bus in Zaporizhzhia’s Kosmichnyi district using an FPV drone. Several people were injured in the attack.
