Russia strikes schools in Ukraine's Chernihiv region

Russian troops shelled several schools in the Chernihiv region in the first days of the school year, according to Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional military administration.
"In the first days of the school year, Russians attacked schools in the border region of Chernihiv. This morning, a strike drone damaged a building of a closed school in the town of Semenivka, breaking windows," Chaus said.
In addition, on the evening of September 1, Russia struck another school in the Semenivka community with FPV drones, and the building was also damaged.
"I would like to remind you that in the 20-kilometer border zone, training is conducted exclusively remotely for security reasons. Russia continues to terrorize our communities, waging war against schools, civilian infrastructure, and our future," added the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.
