Today, December 1, Russian troops attacked one of the residential districts of Kramatorsk and a private housing area. The attack left civilians injured and damaged an apartment building, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
"This is another deliberate strike on civilians, another attempt to kill, destroy, and intimidate," he emphasized.
According to preliminary data, at least four people were injured.
All emergency services are working at the site of the strike. The scale of the destruction and the number of casualties are still being clarified.
Kramatorsk Mayor Oleksandr Honcharenko said that at 12:55 p.m. Russian forces hit one of the city's residential districts and a private sector of the community.
He also published footage of the aftermath. The photos show a hole in the wall of a multi-story building on the third floor, along with shattered windows and balconies.
Local authorities again urged residents of the Donetsk region to evacuate to safer areas of Ukraine, warning that staying in the region is extremely dangerous.

Strikes on Kramatorsk
Russian forces regularly target Kramatorsk, carrying out strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential neighbourhoods.
On November 29, two strikes caused a fire at the central market. Russian troops hit civilian sites, after which the City Council published photos of a large blaze at the covered market. Local channels also shared footage from the scene.
It was not the first targeted strike on Kramatorsk. On November 5, Russian forces attacked a rescue station and an industrial zone, injuring several people.
A day earlier, Russian troops attacked the city with drones, hitting a State Emergency Service vehicle and a passenger bus.
Earlier, on the night of September 14, Russian forces dropped FAB-250 air bombs on the central part of Kramatorsk. Nineteen people were injured, and 35 apartment buildings, several schools, administrative buildings, a bank, and shops were damaged.
