Russian forces have attacked an Amic Energy oil depot in Ukraine that had previously suffered severe damage, according to an official statement from the company.
In the first weeks of Russia's full-scale invasion, Russian troops entered the facility. At the time, the company informed Ukrainian authorities about the fuel reserves stored there to prevent them from falling into enemy hands.
As a result of the fighting, four storage tanks burned down, and technological equipment was damaged.
The facility has now been hit directly once again. Gintaras Macijauskas, CEO of AMIC ENERGY in Ukraine, said the most important thing was that no employees had been injured.
Despite the ongoing threats, the company's gas station network continues to operate as usual. The company is strengthening its safety measures, including installing mobile shelters near gas stations to protect staff.
