On the night of October 1, Russia struck a business center in Odesa. A fire broke out at the scene, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

As a result of Russia’s attack on the business center, the roofs and facades of two of its buildings were damaged, and the blast wave shattered the windows.

Rescue workers also reported that the strike partially destroyed walls on the 5th floor and caused a fire.

State Emergency Service personnel extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading further. Unfortunately, one person was injured as a result of the attack.

More than 20 rescue workers from the State Emergency Service were deployed.

Air Force report

The Air Force reported the flight of jet-powered drones early Thursday morning; however, no reports of enemy targets had previously been issued regarding Odesa and the surrounding region.

Early in the morning, it became known that the enemy launched an attack using 107 Shahed-type strike drones (63 of which were jet-powered), Gerbera drones, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from six directions.

As of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 87 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types.

Enemy airstrikes were recorded at 11 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at 4 locations.

On the night of October 1, Russia also struck the capital. In Kyiv, a high-rise building caught fire as a result of the strike, and a warehouse was damaged.
