Russia strikes McDonald's warehouse

Zelenskyy said that on September 25, Russian drones struck a warehouse used by McDonald's.

"An attack drone – against ordinary food products," the president noted.

According to him, Russia is constantly expanding its escalation campaign.

"American and other businesses, data centers, internet providers – for Russia, ordinary life in and of itself is simply a target. All of this undermines people’s ability to stay connected, study, and work," he said.

Zelenskyy called on the world to respond to these strikes so that Russia would face consequences for its terror.

"Our long-range capabilities and the world’s sanctions must work in concert toward exactly that – concrete consequences for Russia," he said.

Strikes on Kyiv region

Zelenskyy did not specify exactly where Russia struck the McDonald's warehouse.

However, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko reported that Russian forces attacked warehouse facilities in Kyiv region's Brovary district twice today.

One strike occurred overnight, while another took place during the day.

"Brovary district — warehouse facilities and a private house were damaged. Rescuers are putting out a fire at the warehouses," he said.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on September 25, Russian forces attacked an office building in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district with a drone. There were casualties and fatalities as a result of the attack.

In addition, a building of the High Council of Justice in Kyiv was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
