Russian troops carried out a massive strike on Kyiv at night on June 17. Residential buildings in different districts of the city were hit, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
According to him, Russia used 175 drones, more than 14 cruise missiles, and at least 2 ballistic missiles in Kyiv and the surrounding area last night.
"The nature of the damage is a direct hit on residential buildings. Missiles were fired from the upper floors to the basement," he wrote.
Tkachenko said that Russia destroyed most of the Kyiv residents' homes and property in Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts. Now, in the Darnytskyi district, they have also set up their headquarters in the Darnytsia Palace of Culture. In the Shevchenkivskyi district - in the Kostomarov Library.
