On the night of December 6, Russian forces once again attacked Kyiv with drones. The debris of a downed drone was found in Holosiivskyi district, reports Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

The mayor clarified that the debris fell onto the roadway. There are currently no reports of fires, building damage, or casualties.

The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) confirmed that fragments from the enemy UAV fell in the Holosiivskyi district as a result of the attack.

"Preliminarily, the debris landed in an open area. Windows of a non-residential building were damaged. No information on casualties has been received. The operational update is being revised and clarified," stated Serhii Popko, head of the KCMA.

Later, it was announced that the air raid alert had been lifted in Kyiv.

Where the alert was declared

Notably, the air raid alert in the capital had not been lifted at the time of the publication. At 1:58 AM Kyiv time, the alert continues in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions.

As a reminder, on the night of December 5 to 6, Kyiv experienced two air raid alerts. Additionally, two explosions were heard as air defense forces shot down drones.
