Russia strikes Kyiv overnight: Consequences so far revealed

On the night of August 27, debris fell in 2 districts of Kyiv—Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
In the Podilskyi district, debris fell in the courtyard of a residential building. Authorities are currently verifying information about possible casualties and the extent of the damage.
Later, it was reported that another strike hit the Shevchenkivskyi district, where debris fell on the grounds of an educational institution.
The air threat in Kyiv continues, so the Kyiv City Military Administration urges residents to remain in shelters until the all-clear is given.
That same night, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia, the Poltava region, and Kryvyi Rih. Three people were wounded in Zaporizhzhia and in Kryvyi Rih. A Russian strike on an industrial facility injured two more.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv when the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of a ballistic missile heading toward Kyiv from the Chernihiv region.
