Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with Shahed drones this evening, April 3. It is known about at least two strikes on the city, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"We have preliminary information about two Shahed strikes on the city, including in the Novobavarskyi district," Terekhov said.

He added that one of the drone strikes caused a fire. However, he did not specify the exact location of the fire or whether there were any casualties. The mayor also warned residents that the attack was ongoing.

"Kharkiv is once again under attack by enemy combat drones. The air attack on the city continues. Stay cautious!" Terekhov emphasized.

Drone attack on Kharkiv

Earlier today, April 3, Russian forces also struck Kharkiv with a drone, which crashed in the Saltivskyi district.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said that, according to preliminary data, one person was injured. A 26-year-old woman was wounded. She was hospitalised.

He did not specify the type of drone used in the attack.

Yesterday, April 2, Russian forces hit a residential building in Kharkiv with a Molniya drone. According to Mayor Terekhov, five people were injured, including a 10-year-old child. The blast also shattered windows in several apartments.
