On the night of September 3, Russian troops shelled apartment buildings in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region. 7 people were wounded, including a minor, according to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On the night of September 3, Russian troops shelled Druzhkivka with Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. Apartment buildings where civilians were staying at the time were targeted.

As a result of the attack, seven people were injured:

  • 4 men aged 42, 49, 51, and 76
  • 2 women, aged 65 and 71
  • A 16-year-old girl.

Among the victims was one family: a man, his wife, sister, and nephew.

Doctors recorded mine-blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, concussions, and contusions. All victims received qualified medical assistance on site and in medical facilities.

As a result of the Russian strike, a woman with limited mobility was trapped in one of the apartments. Rescuers quickly freed her and took her to the hospital.

Druzhkivka constantly suffers from Russian shelling

Druzhkivka is located 15 km from the front line. Russian shelling destroys infrastructure, communications, educational institutions, and homes. People are leaving the city.

The list of settlements subject to compulsory evacuation has been expanded in the Donetsk region. Compulsory evacuation with children was also announced in Druzhkivka. Children are also being evacuated from the settlements of Andriivka, Varvarivka, Novoandriivka, and Rohanske in the Andriivka community.
