Critical infrastructure facilities were destroyed as a result of a Russian airstrike on October 18 in the Vinnytsia region. Emergency power outages have been implemented in the region, and the situation will remain unstable in the near future, according to Natalia Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

Due to the Russian strike, emergency power outages have been implemented in the region. Critical infrastructure facilities are being switched to backup power sources where necessary.

Utility workers are working to restore power. The Regional Military Administration does not specify how many residents are without power or when it will be restored.

Authorities are urging residents of the Vinnytsia region not to turn on all electrical appliances at the same time to avoid overloading the grid.

"Conscious energy consumption is how we can help the power companies," Zabolotna emphasizes.

On the night of October 17, following a Russian attack, Vinnytsia lost power, and the city's critical infrastructure switched to backup power.

On October 2, the Russians struck the Roshen production complex in Vinnytsia. Employees were saved at the time thanks to a swift evacuation following the alarm.

Earlier, the city's main water treatment plant lost power due to the Russian attack, leading to widespread water supply disruptions in Vinnytsia.
