Russia strikes critical infrastructure facility in Sumy

Russian troops attacked Sumy with drones on Wednesday, July 30, targeting a critical infrastructure facility, Acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar reports.
According to Kobzar, two explosions sounded in Sumy today. The first one was a drone strike on a critical infrastructure site. Acting mayor noted that there were no casualties.
The second explosion was caused by a drone hitting a non-residential building in the central part of the city.
Due to the second attack on Sumy, two people suffered injuries.
Shelling of Ukraine
On the night of July 30, the Russians launched 78 drones against Ukraine from three directions. In particular, Russian troops used up to 8 jet-powered UAVs in the northern direction.
There were confirmed hits by 27 drones in seven locations, and debris from downed drones fell in two locations.
That night, the enemy also attacked Kharkiv and Pavlohrad with drones. A railway station, tracks, and the overhead line were damaged in the city.
During the day, Russian forces shelled the outskirts of Kharkiv, causing a fire and injuring several people.
