Russian troops fired artillery at a children's hospital in Kherson in the morning. The shelling resulted in casualties, including children and medical workers, according to the Kherson regional prosecutor's office.

On October 29, at around 9:20 a.m. Kyiv time, Russia opened artillery fire on a children's hospital in Kherson, where young patients, their parents, and medical staff were present at the time.

According to preliminary data, 9 people were injured in the shelling, including 4 children and three medical workers. Information on the number of victims is being clarified.

The hospital building was significantly damaged, and the blast wave damaged adjacent structures. Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of the Russian shelling and collecting evidence of yet another war crime committed by Russia.

The prosecutor's office emphasizes that the Russian shelling of civilian objects, in particular healthcare facilities, is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

Russian troops continue to strike Kherson and the surrounding communities. On October 28, Russian troops shelled the Kherson community, killing one person and damaging residential buildings, garages, and infrastructure.

The Russians hit residential areas with artillery and strike drones. 6 people were injured. The victims were promptly provided with the necessary medical assistance.

Also, on October 24, Russian troops struck Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems, bringing the installations to their maximum range.
