Russian troops attacked a checkpoint and port infrastructure in the Odesa region. 2 drivers were wounded, one of them a foreigner, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

“At dawn, Russia attacked Izmail district with attack drones,” he says.

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the Russians targeted the port and border infrastructure.

“2 men, truck drivers, were wounded. One of them is a Turkish citizen. The victims are currently in moderate condition in the hospital. They are being provided with all the necessary assistance,” notes Kiper.

Russian attack on Ukraine

On the night of October 2, Russian troops once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In total, the Russian invaders launched 32 Shaheds at Ukraine, with air defense systems shooting down 11 drones. In addition, four returned to Russia.

Ukrainian air defense was operating in Kyiv region, and the Russian invaders also fired on Sumy region and Kharkiv. As for Odesa region, the Orlivka-Isakcea checkpoint on the border with Romania is temporarily closed due to Russian shelling.
