Russia strikes center of Kherson: Drone hits car, several injured

Russia attacked the center of Kherson with a kamikaze drone. Due to the strike, two civilians were injured, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reports.
On Monday, July 8, at around 08:30 a.m. local time, Russian forces attacked the center of Kherson using a drone.
The target was a civilian vehicle located on one of the streets in the city center.
According to preliminary data, two civilians were injured in the attack - a 51-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man.
Both sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
The victims were taken to the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Shelling of Kherson
This is not the first time Russian forces have deliberately struck civilian infrastructure in Kherson.
Shelling of the city from the occupied left bank of the Dnipro continues almost daily, despite the absence of military targets in the affected area.
12 people were injured in previous Russian drone attacks in Kherson. All of them were wounded and taken to the hospital.
In addition, on June 11, two civilians were injured in Kherson during another round of Russian shelling. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops struck the Shumenskyi district at around 04:00 a.m. local time.
Furthermore, on April 17, Russians attacked an ambulance in Kherson. Due to that strike, a medic and a driver were wounded.
