On the night of January 21, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with drones. The destruction was recorded in the Cherkasy and Poltava regions, according to the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, and the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

Cherkasy region

According to preliminary data, 7 Russian drones were destroyed in Cherkasy region. There were no casualties. However, there was damage to infrastructure.

In particular, in the Zvenyhorod district, Russian Shahed fragments damaged the windows of 4 residential buildings, an educational institution, a shop, and a non-residential building, as well as a power line.

An emergency crew is already working at the scene.

Poltava region

A fire broke out in the Kremenchuk community as a result of a Russian drone falling on a private house. Rescuers are involved in its elimination.

Russian drone fragments also damaged 6 residential buildings, 3 outbuildings, 3 garages, and 8 cars.

A power line was damaged. As a result, 87 consumers are without electricity. Repair crews are currently working to restore the power supply.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

On the evening of Monday, January 20, the Russian army traditionally launched attack drones at the territory of Ukraine. As a result, alarms were raised and air defense systems were activated in many regions.

Russians attacked the railway infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian strikes resulted in injuries and damage.
