Russia is amassing various types of missiles for new attacks on Ukraine, and it also has a sufficient number of kamikaze drones, according to the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat.

Responding to the question of whether there are signs that Russia is preparing for another combined massive attack on Ukraine, Ihnat said that deciphering the enemy's intentions is not so simple.

"We understand that the enemy is accumulating certain means. Cruise missiles, in particular. I mean ballistic Iskander-M missiles. Ultimately, things like what has been happening recently are not new to us," the spokesperson said.

According to him, compared to the fall of this year, the situation was more difficult in the summer in terms of Russian attacks.

"What we saw in the summer were Kinzhal missiles, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones. Now that the cold weather has come, the enemy has started to use air-launched missiles Kh-101 and Kh-555, as well as Iskanders and S-400 missiles in attacks on Kyiv," Ihnat added.

The spokesperson also emphasized that Russians currently have enough kamikaze drones to attack Ukraine from different directions every day.

"Well, we have already seen them use the record number of drones on attacks on our capital recently. So the enemy certainly has missiles and will use them, but we need to enhance our capabilities to intercept the UAVs," he said.

Russian missile stockpiles

In mid-November, the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, said that the enemy could have amassed up to 900 long-range precision missiles. According to the General Staff's data, Russia can produce about 100 missiles per month.

"We can make a certain mathematical conclusion that it's 870 or maybe even 900 (missiles, - ed.). That's the number of long-range precision missiles, in addition to aviation missiles (Kh-59, Kh-31, Kh-35), as well as Onyx missiles and S-300 missiles. We are talking only about long-range missiles," Ihnat explained.
