Russia starts using multiple drones for reconnaissance - Ukrainian Air Force
Russia has begun using a large number of reconnaissance drones. The occupiers are searching for targets on the territory of Ukraine, particularly energy facilities, according to the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Illia Yevlash.
"We see that the enemy is using reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles in large quantities," said the spokesperson.
Yevlash noted that the Russian invaders were trying to scout areas where certain objects were located, including energy facilities. After that, the Russians attempted to strike them with ballistic missiles or guided aerial missiles.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that air defense forces destroyed six enemy drones in the south and east of Ukraine over the past day. Among them were two Lancet strike drones and Zala, SuperCam, and Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones.
The type of another reconnaissance drone that Ukrainian defenders destroyed is being clarified.
Strike on Odesa on June 28
An explosion occurred in Odesa today. Before that, it was known that air defense was working against an enemy drone in the region. Later, the military warned of the threat of ballistic missiles from Crimea.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia struck Odesa with a ballistic missile.
"The type is being determined. The consequences will be known shortly," said spokesperson Illia Yevlash.
