Russia has increased military activity in the Kursk region, moving equipment and setting up new positions for drone operators.

This was stated by Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during telemarathon.

According to him, the occupiers are concentrating artillery and positions for launching UAVs near the Ukrainian border.

"The task of Ukrainian soldiers is to detect such positions and enemy strike assets using reconnaissance drones, so they can be targeted and prevented from intensively using strike capabilities against Ukrainian territory," Demchenko emphasized.

He also highlighted the effective work of the reconnaissance-strike drone unit Prime of the Sumy Border Detachment, which inflicts losses both on enemy personnel and their fire assets.

Control over the border zone remains one of the priorities for Ukrainian defenders in combating aerial threats and infiltration by sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
