What weapons Russia used
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones throughout the night. However, the largest number of drones was recorded in the Kharkiv and Odesa regions.
In other regions, the incidents were more isolated, but groups of drones were also detected in the Sumy region at around 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Explosions were heard multiple times in Sumy overnight and in the morning, but no information about the consequences is currently available.
What is known about the aftermath of the attack
Kharkiv
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on his Telegram channel that the city’s Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts came under drone attacks overnight and in the morning.
In particular, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a Shahed drone struck the 12th floor of a residential apartment building. As a result, a local resident was injured. However, fortunately, the enemy drone did not detonate, and "this helped avoid much more serious consequences." Later, Terekhov shared footage of the damaged apartment.
"This is the apartment of that very man. Fragments of the Shahed literally flew inside. Fortunately, it did not detonate. Looking at this footage, it is hard to believe that this did not end in tragedy," the mayor wrote.

At around 6:30 a.m., another attack was reported, with a strike hitting vehicles in Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi district. As a result, two cars were destroyed and another seven were damaged.
"In the Saltivskyi district, debris from a Shahed-type UAV was found near a residential building following the overnight enemy attack. There were no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene," Terekhov added a short time later.
However, by morning, Ukraine's State Emergency Service clarified that two people were injured in Kharkiv after a drone struck a residential building.
