Over the past day, from September 12 to 13, Russian forces lost another 950 soldiers on the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 39 artillery systems and one armored vehicle, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 13, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,093,730 (+950) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,181 (+4);
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,267 (+1);
  • Artillery systems - 32,707 (+39);
  • MLRS - 1,486 (+1);
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,217;
  • Aircraft - 422;
  • Helicopters - 341;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 58,825 (+358);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,718;
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 61,512 (+109);
  • Special equipment - 3,964.

As previously reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on September 12 there were 168 combat engagements on the front, with the most intense fighting occurring in the Pokrovske direction.

Russian forces also carried out one missile strike and 57 air strikes, used three missiles and dropped 88 guided bombs, deployed 2,236 kamikaze drones, and shelled Ukrainian positions and populated areas 3,593 times.
