Russia's losses in Ukraine as of September 2: +1,300 troops

From September 1 to 2, Russian forces sustained losses on the front line including 1,300 soldiers, multiple multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), and 26 armored combat vehicles, according to the General Staff.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to September 2, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 617,600 (+1,300) people were killed;
- tanks - 8,601 (+9) units;
- armored personnel vehicles - 16,786 (+26) units;
- artillery systems - 17,646 (+10) units;
- MLRS - 1,177 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 940 units;
- aircraft - 368 units;
- helicopters - 328 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 14,537 (+30) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,557 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 23,925 (+44) units;
- special equipment - 2,993 (+2) units.
